3rd edition of the Ceïba Foundation Gala crowned with success

The CEIBA Foundation organized its third annual gala dinner on May 23, 2024 at the Jardin des Plantes in Montpellier.

This prestigious event, in partnership with the city hall and the University of Montpellier, is of crucial importance for the CEIBA Foundation in its mission to preserve the century-old trees of the Garden.

The funds raised at the Gala will be used to finance the continuation of the foundation’s actions, such as soil decompaction, reforestation and renaturation, with the objective of preserving this natural heritage of the City of Montpellier. Over three years, the Foundation has raised €200,000 for the Jardin des Plantes.

The evening brought together 23 committed partner companies, thus illustrating their support for urban nature conservation efforts. We would like to thank all the guests present and especially our Gold and Platinum partners: Crédit Agricole du Languedoc, SVA, Tecsol (Sol Solidaire association), A + Architecture, Arquitectonica, L35 Architectes, Zoumai, BFPL Avocats, BET Durand, PER, DGL, Traiteur Grand, Lexnot notarial office and OASIIS.

Beyond its annual Gala, the CEIBA Foundation supports and advises local authorities on the development of nature in the city through concrete projects.
In close collaboration with renowned experts: Jean MUS, Bruno RICCI, Jean-Paul VIGUIER, Léo MARGUERIT and Yann FORTUNATO, it implements initiatives aimed at renaturing urban spaces and countering the harmful effects of climate change.

In parallel, the CEIBA Foundation launched a social media campaign: 1 follower = 1 tree planted. Thanks to this reforestation initiative, more than 5,000 trees have been planted in a decimated forest in Cantal, thus demonstrating the power of collective mobilization to restore our environment.

Nicolas Chambon, Chairman of the CEIBA Foundation, expresses his gratitude to all donors for their support and commitment to preserving our natural heritage. Together, let’s contribute to creating greener, more resilient cities that respect nature for future generations.
